Migrant Women Emergency Hotline (Danuri Call Center) 1577-1366

This helpline was founded in November 2006 to provide consultation and translation support to women who have migrated to Korea.

The Migrant Women’s Emergency Hotline (Danuri Call Center) Provides the Following Services

  • Provides safe shelter, medical assistance, and legal and related support to those needing emergency protection from domestic violence, sexual violence, the sex trade, or abuse.
  • Prevention of violence against migrant women and in-person counseling, on-site counseling, and interpretation support for victims
  • Connection with and transportation to organizations offering emergency support for victims, police and hospital support, emergency shelter and protection facilities
  • Operation of one national center (Seoul) and four regional centers (Suwon, Daejeon, Gwangju, and Busan)
