Thanks to the love and support of all the residents, I have taken the first step as the honorable director of the eighth civil election for the Yuseong District Office.
I was able to stand here once again thanks to the residents who gave me generous support and encouragement, wishing for a better future for Yuseong.
The past 4 years of the seventh civil election was an impressive time to prepare a blueprint for a better Yuseong and achieve thrilling changes despite difficulties never experienced before.
We became more united than ever before, and eventually created hope even in the midst of crisis.
Yuseong has grown into the best city in the country both in name and reality, and is ranked first in the country for local self-government competitiveness and was selected as the best city in administrative service evaluation, and is recognized externally as well.
In the eighth civil election, Yuseong faces the task of the times in which we must respond to the waves of change by using the achievements of the past four years as a stepping stone.

The fast change into a digital society and climate crisis is no longer a far-off future, but a reality we must face and overcome.
In the midst of changes like these, new innovation of the existing administration and societal system, and how to cope proactively with these changes, is what will decide the competitiveness and future of Yuseong.
Yuseong, which was made better with the residents for the past four years, would like to leap forward once again with the slogan of the eighth civil election, “Yuseong, a city leading a better future.”
A city where all 360,000 residents are shining heroes with a workplace where imagination becomes a reality through science and technology, a living place where we first meet the future through innovation and challenges, a shelter where culture and welfare brightly illuminate our lives—this is the vision of the eighth civil election Yuseong that we dream of.

We propose to you four district government goals to realize a better Yuseong with a new leap forward.

The best way to predict the future is by creating it.
By establishing a future education support center to nurture future innovative talents such as teens, we will support career planning and expand future education governance.
In addition, by creating an ecosystem for youth start-ups and job innovation centered on the Gungdong Startup Park, we will nurture it as a Korean-style Silicon Valley, and will reduce the worries of young people and increase their satisfaction by promoting the Zero Baek (zero worry, 100% satisfaction) youth project, such as preparing a housing supply plan for young people.

We will use the transition of the generation as an opportunity for new urban growth.
We will operate an AI/data-centered digital conversion (DX) support center, create an eco-friendly city, establish a smart agricultural demonstration complex, and expand eco-friendly mobility charging facilities.
Through this, we will lead the digital environment one step ahead and realize a smart green city where people, nature and science coexist.

The owner of Yuseong is every one of the 360,000 residents.
We will create the best self-governing city where the individuality and diversity of all residents are respected by expanding the village community space and care infrastructure and installing a pet playground.

Culture and welfare is not a special right but a basic right that all residents can enjoy.
For this, we will improve the quality of life of residents and promote balanced regional development with policies tailored to administrative needs with the construction of cultural welfare infrastructure in the southwestern region, expansion of smart senior citizen centers incorporating smart innovation technology, good shuttle plus business for the socially underprivileged, etc.
We will create a forest healing cluster in Bang-dong and Seongbuk-dong, fully upgrade river leisure spaces, and fill the lives of residents with leisure and happiness with a hot spring district base project.

I think that district government and parliamentary government have a common destiny, like the two wheels of a cart.
We will always communicate and cooperate with the Yuseong District Council, which represents the wishes and will of the residents, so that the two wheels of the cart can roll in a balanced way to promote the welfare of residents and the big pending issues that will determine the future of Yuseong.
